Two new rail routes, Zheskazgan-Beineu and Arkalyk-Shubarkol are needed to be built in Kazakhstan, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said today at a joint meeting of the Kazakh Parliament whilst making his annual address to the people.
"It is important to begin construction of two new railway lines - Zheskazgan-Beineu with length of 1200 km and Arkalyk-Shubarkol," he said.
According to Mr Nazarbayev, these projects "will give a strong impetus to the development of Zheskazgan-Arkalyk region."
