In June, consumer prices and tariffs for services in Azerbaijan decreased by 1.3 percent compared to May, the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan said on Thursday.
In June, food products prices declined by 2.7 percent, tariffs for paid services and prices for nonfoods remain unchanged.
During the month there was a decline in prices for food products such rice, semolina and buckwheat, bread, pasta, mutton and chicken, fresh fish, unpasteurized milk, butter, sunflower oil and olive oil, sugar and granulated sugar, bananas, apples, etc..
Food products such as beef, eggs, chestnut, lemon, tangerine, greens, beets, carrots and onions rose in price in June.
