Georgia's foreign-trade turnover with the CIS countries in January-November 2012 amounted to $2.964 billion, or 11 per cent more than the same period of last year.
As Georgian Statistics Service (Gruzstat) told Trend, Georgia's exports totaled $1.139 billion (22 percent more), imports - $1.825 billion (5 percent more).
The share of the CIS countries in Georgia's total trade turnover was 32 percent, in exports - 52 percent, imports - 25 percent (in 2011, respectively 32, 48 and 27 percent).
Some 14 percent of trade deficit accounts for the CIS countries (in 2011 - 18 percent). Compared to January-November 2011, negative trade balance of the CIS countries decreased by 14 percent this year.
Georgia's foreign-trade turnover during the reporting period was $9.352 billion, or 13 percent more than last year.
