Assets of Azerbaijani Insurance Company Xalq Sigorta rise by 12 percent

Assets of Azerbaijani insurance company Xalq Sigorta based on performance in 2012 amounted to 35.22 million manat compared to 31.35 million manat at the beginning of the year. This is an increase of 12.34 percent, the company's statement published in the official press said.

Xalq Sigorta's financial statements were audited by Baltik Kaspian Audit LLC.

According to the report, long-term assets of the company by the end of 2012 totaled 1.06 million manat, whereas short-term assets - 34.16 million manat.

In 2012, the company accumulated 29.74 million manat in cash and cash equivalents, of which 570.4 million manat is on the current account and 28.98 million manat - on deposit accounts.

By the end of 2012, the company's paid-up share capital stood at 26.38 million manat compared to 23.35 million manat in 2011.
The total capital of the company at the end of last year amounted to 28.48 million manat, or 7.86 percent more than in 2011.

Company's total liabilities exceeded 6,618 million manat, while capital and liabilities as a whole amounted to 35.22 million manat compared to 31.35 million manat at the beginning of the year, increasing by nearly 12.34 per cent.

The company's revenues last year amounted to 12.94 million manat, expenses - 10.34 million manat. The company completed 2012 with a net profit of 2.08 million manat.

Xalq Sigorta insurance company was established in 2005.
