Azerbaijan has the fastest growing economy, Acting Head of the European Union mission to Azerbaijan Toralf Pilz said on Wednesday in Baku during the 1st European-Azerbaijani Investment Conference.
According to him, Azerbaijan has a very interesting business environment and economy good for competition.
Pilz also noted the necessity of signing a free trade agreement after joining the World Trade Organization.
"Investments are key factors for ensuring the country's sustainable development," he said.
Pilz stressed the significance of holding such important event.
