New cement plant is under construction in Kazakhstan's Akmola region, the website of the regional authorities reported.
The construction work has been completed by 73 percent by now.
The head of Akmola region Sergey Kulagin visited the plant and inspected the construction process within the trip to Enbekshilder district of the region.
The plant will produce 2 million metric tons of cement of 20 different sorts per year.
The cement plant will create jobs for 700 people. In 2013 and 2014 the construction work are completing and preparation for the commissioning of cement production is carried out.
