The average US dollar rate in T+1 (transaction date plus one day) tenge settlements in the morning session of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) on Oct. 22 amounted to 365.93 tenge, Kazakh media reported.
Thus, the national currency of Kazakhstan has strengthened by 0.66 tenge against the US dollar compared to the same trading on Oct. 19 (366.59 tenge per US dollar).
At the morning trading session of the US dollar, the minimum rate was 365.5 tenge per US dollar and the maximum rate was 366.4 tenge per US dollar. The trading volume amounted to $18.6 million.
