4,500 apartments to be built in Kazakhstan's Akmola region

As many as 4,500 apartments with a total area of more than 500,000 square meters will be built in Kazakhstan’s Akmola region next year, Governor of the region Malik Murzalin said at a press conference in the Central Communications Service, according to the Kazakh media.

"In the future, the annual growth will be 380-400 apartments," he added.

The governor also noted that under the Nurly Zher program, the volume of investments in housing construction for the first 9 months of this year increased by 35 percent.

As many as 3,800 apartments with a total area of 394,000 square meters were commissioned.

It is worth noting that next year, in the Year of Youth in Kazakhstan, the Akmola Zhastary program starts in the region.

As part of the program, 4 houses will be built in Kokshetau city and more than 400 young families will be provided with housing. It is also planned to build 6 dormitories for students.
