A producer of flexible stone has applied for a resident status of the High-Tech Park of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Director of the High-Tech Park Nazim Shukurov told Trend.
Shukurov noted that the application will be sent to the Expert Council, where scientists will evaluate the project on the know-how, scientific and economic components, as well as the extent to which there is a demand for the final product in the market.
"Similar projects are being implemented in other countries, but a distinctive feature of the local project, as far as we know, is its innovative component. After the project is approved by the Expert Council, the enterprise will receive the resident status of the High-Tech Park," Shukurov said.
As Shukurov noted, after the enterprise receives the resident status, all the necessary conditions for the production will be created for it at the High-Tech Park, as well as legal and consulting support, tax and customs privileges will be provided for the company.
"Information about finished products will be posted on our webpage, as well as on enterpriseazerbaijan.com, which brings together the business community and allows to attract investment," he added.
