Iran discloses volume of goods exported from Abadan port

Since the beginning of this Iranian year on March 21, goods worth $59 million were exported from Abadan port of Iran’s Khuzestan province to different countries, which is 54 percent more compared to the same period of last Iranian year, Ali Mousavi, deputy head of Iran's Arvand Free Trade Zone, said.

A cargo worth $7 million was transited through the Abadan port during the period, which is 100 percent more compared to the same period of last Iranian year, Mousavi said, Trend reports referring to IRNA.

Free trade zones and border markets are the ways to resolve the problem of exporters, Rashid Pournemati, Director of the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Abadan, said.
