Baku, Azerbaijan, July 22
By Nargiz Sadikhova – Trend:
The increase of industrial manufacturing in North Kazakhstan region amounted to 3.6 percent during first six months of 2019, said Head of the Statistics Department of the Region under the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan Maral Nurzhaupova, Trend reports with reference to Kazakh media.
She further stated that during reporting period, local ventures manufactured goods worth nearly 111 billion tenge.
“At the same time, the manufacturing in mechanical engineering decreased by over 40 percent. The decrease is mainly due to the absence of railway machinery manufacturing and decrease of manufacturing of specialized machinery for oil and gas well maintenance,” she added.
“It is expected that by the end of 2019, the goods manufacturing volume in North Kazakhstan region will amount to 250 billion tenge with an increase of three-four percent. The increase is to be ensured through the growth of food products manufacturing,” Nurzhaupova said.
