In first seven months of 2019, Georgia imported 1.04 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Azerbaijan, Trend reports referring to Georgian National Statistics Office (Geostat).
The total cost of Azerbaijani natural gas imported to Georgia is $173,664,800.
Compared to the same period last year, the volume of natural gas imported from Azerbaijan increased by 80,363.3 cubic meters, or 8.3 percent.
In January-July this year, Georgia imported 116,447.3 tons of oil and oil products from Azerbaijan. The total cost of the products amounted to $64,18 million. In annual comparison, the volume of oil and oil products imported from Azerbaijan increased by 21,623.2 tons or 22.8 percent.
In the first seven months of last year, Georgia imported 94,824.1 tons of oil and oil products from Azerbaijan accounting to $57.97 million.
