Boumanfruit B.V. is one of the largest importers of fresh fruit in the Netherlands. Over the past two years, the company has begun to expand its range of imported products, and now it has an increased interest in new markets, which includes Uzbekistan.

The head of Boumanfruit B.V. expressed interest in importing lemon, apricot, peach, nectarine, pomegranate, grapes, persimmon, juices from Uzbekistan, as well as establishing direct cooperation with Uzbek farmers and exporters, who have experience of cooperation with European partners.

The Dutch entrepreneur noted his interest in working directly with farmers or exporting companies that have their own land plots where the products are grown, as it allows maintaining high quality and homogeneity of purchased products, planning future supplies, promptly resolving possible problems and disagreements.

At the end of the meeting, the sides reached an agreement to assist Boumanfruit B.V. in establishing partnership ties with promising exporters from Uzbekistan in order to start supplies of fresh fruits to the Dutch market, as well as in organizing Bouman's visit to Uzbekistan as soon as the epidemiological situation improves.

Boumanfruit B.V. has its own refrigeration capacity of 3,500 tons. The annual turnover is about 25 million euros. Until recently, the company was one of the largest importers of citrus fruits in the Netherlands.
