A project to provide water to 13 villages in Iran's Ilam province was launched by Iran's Minister of Energy Reza Ardakanian, Trend reports via IRNA.
The project envisages water supplying to 256 villages in 9 provinces. The project was inaugurated backed by a credit worth $2.4 million from Iran's National Development Fund.
“According to the plans made and timely allocation of credits, within the next two years, all the villages will be supplied with water," said the CEO of Ilam Water and Sewerage Company Nourollah Teymouri.
“Some 98.5 percent of the rural population of this province are covered by the services of the Rural Water and Sewerage Company,” he said.
