The trade turnover between Georgia and Ukraine amounted to $218.8 million from January through April 2021, Trend reports referring to the National Statistics Office (Geostat).
As reported, of this $ 97.5 million in exports from Georgia to Ukraine and $121.8 million - imports to this country.
The top commodities Georgia imports from Ukraine are cigarettes ($15.3 million), steel ($5.9 million), medicines ($5.6 million), products made of steel (4.3 million), chocolate and cocoa products ($ 3.4 million), cigarette substitutes - $3 million, confectionery - $2.9 million, frozen meat of cattle - $2.2 million, butter and dairy spreads - $2.04 million.
Georgia exports vehicles to Ukraine in the amount of $ 28 million, computers and blocks ($15, 2 million) ethyl alcohol and alcoholic beverages (14.5 million), mineral and freshwater (9.5 million), scrap metal - 5.9 million, sweet carbonated drinks (1.19 million), pipes and profiles of ferrous metals (1.1 million), nuts - $ 1.05 million.
