Kazakhstan multifold increases petroleum gas export to Poland

Kazakhstan exported 2,743 tons of petroleum gas and other gaseous hydrocarbons to Poland worth 1.3 million euros in March 2021, Eurostat representative told Trend.

In turn, overall petroleum gas and other gaseous hydrocarbons exports from Kazakhstan to Poland amounted to 5,568 tons worth 2.4 million euros over the period from Jan. through Mar. 2021.

Thus, compared to February 2021 the export volume increased by 2.7 times (997 tons), whereas compared to January 2021 the volume increased by 50.07 percent (1,827 tons).

The value of petroleum gas and other gaseous hydrocarbons export from Kazakhstan to Poland was 3 times more than in February 2021 (451,023 euros), and 2.1 times more than in January 2021 (631,148 euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Poland amounted to $234.7 million from January through March 2021, compared to $196.8 million during the same period of 2020.

Kazakhstan’s exports to Poland amounted to $157.2 million from January through March 2021, compared to $121.9 million during the same period of 2020.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Poland amounted to nearly $77.5 million over the reporting period, compared to $74.8 million during the same period of 2020.
