TEHRAN, Iran, July 14. Iran and Belarus are exploring the possibilities of ways to enhance their mutual ties, Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade Reza Fatemi-Amin said, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Fatemi-Amin stressed that Iranian and Belarusian companies could establish joint production, in addition to export and import, and strengthen economic relations.
He made the remark during the meeting with Chairman of Belarus Standing Commission on International Affairs of the House of Representatives Andrei Savinykh.
The sides have discussed the possibilities to enhance the mutual cooperation, including exchanging technology, trade based on local currencies, banking transactions, and launching direct flights between Iran and Belarus.
Iran plans to send an economic delegation to Belarus in the next two months to establish ties between the business circles of the two countries.
