BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 26. Iran’s non-oil exports through the customs of Qom Province (northern Iran) amounted to 260,000 tons of goods worth about $231 million, during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2022), Director General of Qom Province Customs Office, Esfandiar Derikvandi told IRNA, Trend reports.

The customs official said that the non-oil exports through the province’s customs for the reporting period increased by 34 percent in value compared to the same period last Iranian year.

“Furthermore, 44,100 tons of goods worth $220 million were imported through the customs of Qom Province within 8 months. The imported goods were mainly raw materials and industrial equipment,” Derikvandi added.

According to him, the income of the province's customs for 8 months amounted to 5.07 trillion rials (about $121 million).
