It is anticipated that Caspian Oil & Gas and 13th Oil and Gas, Caspian Oil Processing and Chemistry Exhibitions get enlarged by 20% in 2006. Trend reports with reference to Iteca Caspian, organizer of these exhibitions, it is important that new companies that had never been to Azerbaijan before represent almost 30% of the exhibits.
Over 85% of the exhibition area is already reserved by large companies and national pavilions by Italy, Germany, Russia, UK, France and the USA. Number of Russian companies to partake at the exhibition has also risen due to the Year of Russia in Azerbaijan. In total the exhibition will represent nearly 350 companies from 30 countries.traditional Power Security and Caspian Oil Transportation to Global Markets conference will take place within the exhibition. The conference is taking place on June 7 to 8 with participation of about 300 delegates, including management of oil and transport companies, as well as those of holdings, insurance companies and banks.
On the first day of the conference a welcoming speech will say sir Andrew Wood, Senior Advisor, ITE Group Plc, and Natik Aliyev, Azeri Minister of Industry and Power Engineering. Then, first plenary session will take place with discussion of the current state and potential of development of oil&gas resources in Caspian region. The session will be headed by lord Frazer, chairman of Anglo-Azeri society.
