The state run KapitalBank has appealed to the international rating agency Moody`s Investor Services to receive the second rating, Yashar Mammadov, Vice-President of the Bank told Trend today.
The experts of the rating agency are expected to visit Baku to review the activity of KapitalBank in October this year. Then the rating will be announced. According to Mr. Mammadov, the Bank is not about to refresh the rating in Fitch Ratings this year.
Fitch Ratings announced the first rating of Kapitalbank in November 2005. He was attached on the basis of the appraisal of the the Bank`s activity to July 1, 2005. According to this appraisal, KapitalBank was granted the long-term rating "B+", short-term one - "B", individual - "D/E", and the support rating - "4". The forecast on the long-term rating was stable.
According to Moody`s, the country rating is Ba1. It was announced on September 14, 2006.
