U.S. increases oil export forecast from Azerbaijan

The U.S. Energy Information Agency (EIA) forecasts oil supplies from Azerbaijan will be increased from 0.19 million barrels per day to 1.07 million barrels per day in 2009. Earlier, EIA forecasted the growth at 0.12 million barrels per day.

In 2010, oil supplies from Azerbaijan will be increased by 0.16 million barrels to 1.23million barrels per day.

Oil supplies of non-OPEC countries dropped by 270,000 barrels per day in 2008, and will increase by 400,000 barrels per day to 50.15 million barrels per day in 2009.

The EIA June reports said the high oil production in Brazil, the United States and Azerbaijan compensates the reduction of production in Mexico, the Northern Sea and Russia.

The oil production by non-OPEC countries will increase by 0.02 million barrels per day to 50.17 million barrels per day in 2010.

The oil production by countries of the former Soviet Union will reach 13.09 million barrels per day, which is by 0.11 million barrels more compared to 2009.

Out of the total volume of supplied oil Kazakhstan will implement 1.54 million barrels of oil per day. In 2010, Kazakhstan will increase oil supplies by 0.12 million barrels to 1.66 million barrels per day.

In 2009, Turkmenistan will supply 0.2 million barrels of oil per day. In 2010, the volume will be kept on the same level.

The oil production by OPEC will decrease by 2.79 million barrels per day to 28.49 million barrels per day in 2009 and will increase by 0.29 million barrels to 28.78 million barrels per day in 2010. The oil production by OPEC totaled 28.7 million barrels per day in the first quarter and 28.6 million in the second quarter of 2009, according to EIA.
