The repair work launched at the Ethylene-Polyethylene plant of the Production Union Azerkimya of SOCAR a month ago is successfully continued, the company said.
The repairs of ethylene and polyethylene compressors, which are the main technological units of ethylene production - the leading productive sectors of the plant are successfully completed.
These compressors work in a special regime under high pressure. Such plants often fry, create many problems for chemists working at gas turbochargers.
Not only the ethylene production, but also the stable functioning of the whole plant depends on the coordinated work of these plants.
Those parts of compressors, which should be restored or replaced, have been identified at first and all problems have been gradually eliminated.
The leaks in pipes turbochargers for various purposes and the diversion of raw materials and semi-in separators were eliminated. Other support equipment also repaired and the inspected. The compressors were painted with paints protecting against corrosion.
One of the most important factors in stable operation of the company is quality and complete cleaning of pipes turbochargers from the polymer. This work is entrusted to experienced specialists of this field. All conditions for normal operation were created for chemists during the repair. The achieved results were high-level and overhaul was carried out under severe quality requirements. This makes it possible to believe that the life of all technological and mechanical equipment of the enterprise will be longer.
