Azerkimya Production Unit (production of chemical products) of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 15,300 tons of caustic soda in 2011, which is 64.5 percent more than the same period of 2010, Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said on Thursday.
An increase was observed in all basic chemical products produced by Azerkimya in 2011.

Thus, 8.681.9 tons of solid polyethylene pipes, tubes and hoses were produced in 2011. It is 85.7 percent more compared to the same period of 2010. Some 425 tons of porous polyurethane plates and strips were produced in the republic. It is 2.1 times more than the same period of 2010.
