When its refinery projects are completed, Iran will start pre-selling diesel and jet fuel to international customers after stocking up on its own strategic supplies, Mehr News Agency quoted an oil ministry official as saying.

By the middle of next year (Iran's solar year ends on March 20) the country's capacity to produce petrol and diesel fuels will reach 70 million and 100 million liters a day respectively said Alireza Zeyghami, managing director of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC). After domestic consumption has been met, Iran will have the capacity to export 40 million liters of petrol.

A program to pre-sell diesel and jet fuel to some international customers will start when Iran's new refinery projects are inaugurated.

In the first 10 months of its year, Iran has exported more than $9 billion dollars in petroleum products including diesel fuel, light and heavy oil, jet fuel and kerosene to Asian and European countries.
