Kazakh Oil Transportation Company subsidiary KazTransOil is to raise the tariff for oil pumping via the Kazakhstan - China pipeline from April 1, 2013, General Director of JSC KazTransOil, Kairgeldy Kabyldin said at a briefing in Astana on Monday.
"We will raise tariffs for oil pumping via the Kazakhstan-China pipeline from April 1. Previously, it was on a temporary basis but now we will bring it into line so that the tariff ensures the covering of operating costs and appropriate service of those loans that were involved in implementation of this project," Kabyldin said.
He said increasing the tariff volume will be insignificant.
