Novorossiysk Port reduces oil transhipment by over 18 per cent

The Russian Novorossiysk International Trade Sea Port transhipped 77.51 million tons of oil in January-October 2013 compared to 94.7 million tons in the same period of 2012, the port's official website reported today.

The port transhipped 110.83 million tons of oil in 2012 compared to 113.39 million tons in 2011.

It also transported 20.38 million tons of oil products during the reporting period compared to 15.38 million tons in January-October 2012.

There was transhipped of 118.13 million tons of various cargo in January-October compared to 134.38 million tons in the same period of 2012.

The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) transports its own oil through this port.
