The 19th edition of Tehran international Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition kicked off at Iranian capital's International Permanent Fairground.
This year's edition is dubbed "Expansion of energy diplomacy and strengthening domestic production," Iran's IRNA News Agency reported on May 6.
Some 1800 domestic and foreign companies are taking part in the event.
Some 600 foreign firms from 32 countries such as England, Australia, Austria, Germany, Poland, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Switzerland, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, and Afghanistan attend the four-day exhibition.
It is while only 195 companies from 15 foreign countries attended the previous edition of the exhibition.
The oil show will close on May 9.
