The volume of oil production (along with condensate) in Azerbaijan amounted to 9.3 million tons from January through March 2020, Trend reports citing the report of the Ministry of Energy.
At the same time, 6.4 million tons out of 9.3 million tons accounted for the share of Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli (ACG) field, and the share of Shah Deniz field - 952,000 tons (condensate).
According to the report, oil production by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) amounted to 1.9 million tons.
In 1Q2020, the volume of exported oil along with condensate amounted to 7.6 million tons.
According to the data, 7.3 million tons were exported by the consortium, and 324,000 tons were exported by SOCAR.
Indicators on production and export of oil on the ACG and Shah Deniz fields, which play an important role in the development of the oil and gas industry in Azerbaijan, were also specified. From the moment of the commissioning of ACG and Shah Deniz fields, over 1.5 million tons of oil (along with condensate) were produced until April. As of April 1, 2020, 505 million tons of oil were produced at the ACG field.
