Saudi Arabia’s Saudi Aramco national oil company is currently looking for suppliers of materials, oil and gas components and services in the region, a source in the company told Trend.
The company commented on the decisions taken regarding Aramco's operations around the world, which affected its work in Azerbaijan.
According to the company, Saudi Aramco evaluates each new business development project taking into account various factors, including planning, economics and strategy.
“We are currently looking for material suppliers, suppliers and vendors of oil and gas components and services in the region. This provides a unique opportunity for manufacturers, suppliers and service providers in Central Asia to participate and learn about the general procedures, rules and incentive programs that Aramco can make it easier for investors,” the company said.
“The program is part of the ‘In Kingdom Total Value Added (IKTVA)’ program, Aramco's economic profit, focused on working with manufacturers, suppliers and vendors to expand their business and services in Saudi Arabia,” the source said.
Saudi Aramco was established in 1933. The headquarters is located in Dhahran. The company controls almost all of the country's oil production facilities.
