Kazakhstan's petroleum oil export to Greece jumps

Kazakhstan has exported 407,043 tons of crude petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 159.5 million euros to Greece in March 2021, a Eurostat official told Trend.

In turn, Kazakhstan exported 1.1 million tons of petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 404.3 million euros to Greece over the period from January through March 2021.

Thus, the March volume of petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals from Kazakhstan to Greece is 11.9 percent less than in volume compared to January 2021 (462,064 tons) and is 51.1 percent more than in February 2021 (407,043 tons).

March export value is also 7.4 percent more than in January 2021 (148.5 million euros) and is 65.6 percent more than in Feb. 2021 (96.2 million euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Greece amounted to $193.01 million from January through February 2021, compared to $222.8 million during the same period of 2020.

Kazakhstan’s exports to Greece amounted to $189.3 million from January through February 2021, compared to $219.5 billion during the same period of 2020.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Greece amounted to nearly $3.6 million over the reporting period, compared to $3.2 million during the same period of 2020.
