Japanese corporation interested in implementation of joint energy projects with Uzbekistan

The Japanese IHI Corporation is interested in the implementation of joint energy projects with Uzbekistan, Trend reports referring to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan.

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan held a meeting with the Manager of the Marketing Department of the IHI Corporation, Atsushi Yagi, during which he got acquainted with the ongoing economic reforms in Uzbekistan, including the created favorable conditions for foreign investors, as well as doing business.

Yagi expressed interest in the implementation of joint energy projects with the Uzbek side, the supply of agricultural equipment, participation in the construction of infrastructure facilities (tunnels and bridges).

In addition, taking into account the vigorous activity of the corporation in the implementation of developments in the field of ammonium combustion at power plants, the representative of the IHI Corporation drew attention to the products of Uzkimyosanoat JSC.

Also, the representatives of the IHI Corporation confirmed their interest in the active expansion of trade and economic activities in the presence of specific proposals up to the opening of their office in Uzbekistan.

In addition, the Japanese corporation expressed its readiness to discuss with the ministries of energy, construction, transport of Uzbekistan issues of cooperation and prospects for the implementation of joint projects.
