BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 12. In compliance with the European and national regulatory requirements, in accordance with best European practices and its policy for transparency and non-discrimination, Bulgartransgaz EAD launches public consultations on the draft 2022 – 2031 Ten Year Network Development Plan of the company, Trend reports with reference to the company.
The TYNDP presents Bulgartransgaz EAD activities foreseen to be carried out in the next ten years to ensure the security of gas supplies, the capability of the gas transmission system to meet the expected future natural gas demand and supply levels in Bulgaria and the region, as well as achievement of diversification of natural gas supply sources and routes. Information regarding future investments of the company required for reliably performing the licensed activities of natural gas transmission and storage, as well as for realizing the commitments for modernization and development of the gas transmission network is also presented.
Following the public consultation, the Ten-Year Network Development Plan of Bulgartransgaz EAD for the period 2022-2031 will be submitted for approval by the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) within the statutory deadline.
