Over January-July the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 5230,000 tons oil from offshore and onshore fields or 1.200 tons less than 2004. The oil and gas producing units (OGPU) of SOCAR produced 4668,900 tons oil or 28,800 tons less than 2004, the Company told Trend.
In January-July 2005 foreign companies, produced hydrocarbons from onshore fields with participation of SOCAR, produced 27,600 tons or 5.2% more than 2004.
Over this period a total gas production in Azerbaijan comprised 3053,6m cu m or 156,9m cu m (5,4%) more than 2004. 2222,7m cu m of gas fell to OGPU of SOCAR or 35,2m cu m less than 2004.
Joint enterprises (JE) and operating companies (OC) produced 61,2m cu m gas or 14,4m cu m less than 2004. The Azerbaijani International Operating Company (AIOC) produced 769,7m cu m gas or 206,5m cu m more than 2004.
