The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) does not plan to resume export deliveries of avia kerosene of TS-1 brand, produced at Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery Plant, to the British company Petrogas by the end of the year, Trend reports.

The SOCAR said that is cannot restore a tender on sale of kerosene TS-1 as Azal state air company increased a demand in this product.

According to an official of the SOCAR, the company would more probably not carry out oil export this year. “The contract with Petrogas expires on 31 July 2005. The contract volume is 50,000 tons of kerosene, while we could deliver only 25,000 tons to Batumi,” the SOCAR said.

Prior to Petrogas, the SOCAR shipped kerosene for the Swiss trader Glencore. The deliver of kerosene comprised 75,000 tons.
