AZENCO, the subcontractor on construction of module power stations in Azerbaijan, completed complex of geodesic, geologic and topographic work in the framework of project on construction of power station in Shaki, the press service of Azerenerji told Trend.
AZENCO is currently implementing earthwork on preparation of site under construction of the power station, as well as 110KV station. 130 people are involved in the work. The number of the workers will grow gradually.
Azerenerji will complete construction of two power stations in the regions Shaki and Khachmaz till September.
In accordance with the Presidents decree, Azerenerji is due to ensure construction of 52 similar plants in Baku, Nakhchivan, Khachmaz, Shaki. In 2006 12 power stations will be installed at the Baku Heat and Power Plant, 10 - Khachmaz and Shaki.
They will function at the expense of natural gas, supplied by Azerigas JSC. These power stations will consist of 8.7 MW power modules.
Construction of the power station will allow increase of power production in Azerbaijan by 450-460 MW.
