Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend / As of 1 April, the number of operational wells belonging to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) (except joint ventures and operating companies) equaled 6138 (as of 1 March - 6133 wells), SOCAR reports.
Of these wells, 4861 (as of 1 March - 4851 wells) wells are active and 1266 (as of 1 March - 1272 wells) are inactive. Eleven wells (as of 1 March - ten) are currently under operation.
