During this year, 317 transactions were made on bonds of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR, which ensured 44.4 percent of the total number of bond transactions in the secondary market, Trend reports referring to the brokerage company PSG Kapital, which is a market maker of SOCAR bonds.
The volume of transactions since the beginning of the year amounted to $9.765 million.
In total, the turnover of transactions on corporate bonds of SOCAR has so far exceeded $180 million. In September, the nominal price of SOCAR bonds rose from $1,011.8 to $1,034.9 per security.
Yield on bonds on an annualized basis amounted to 6.5 percent. Over the past three years, an increase in the nominal value of bonds amounted to 8.6 percent.
The biggest number of transactions from September 2018 to September 2019 was carried out in July 2019 and amounted to 3,675 transactions.
