Total liabilities of Azerbaijan's PASHA Bank increase

PASHA Bank OJSC, the leading corporate bank of Azerbaijan, increased total liabilities by 0.3 percent in 2019 compared to preceding year, Trend reports to the bank's balance sheet.

The total liabilities of OJSC increased by 14.1 million manat ($8.2 million), reaching 4.2 billion manat ($2.4 billion).

“In the structure of liabilities, a significant part (83.5 percent) accounted for client and bank deposits, including deposits from financial institutions and Loro accounts. The volume of client and bank deposits dropped by 7 percent, exceeding 3.8 billion manat ($2.2 billion),” the report said.

The accounts payable of the bank amounted to 283.7 million manat ($140.4 million), while other liabilities equaled to 84 million manat.

The share capital remained the same since the beginning of 2019, amounting to 333 million manat ($195.8 million). Retained earnings increased by 23.1 percent and amounted to 105.3 million manat ($61.9 million).

The total reserves increased by 40 percent and amounted to 37.5 million manat ($22.5 million).

The total capital of PASHA Bank increased by 13.8 percent in 2019 and amounted to 475.8 million manat ($279.8 million), which was 418.1 million manat ($245.9 million) in 2018.
