The broad money supply (M3) in Azerbaijan will increase by 8.3 percent for the current year, Trend reports on June 23 with reference to the June report of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) "Regional Economic Outlook": Middle East and Central Asia.
In accordance with the IMF forecasts, the growth rate will be at the level of 6.4 percent in 2022.
Earlier, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan reported that in general, the cash money supply in circulation increased by 13.8 percent (1.4 billion manat or $823 million) up to 11.8 billion manat ($6.9 billion) in 2020.
In general, the growth of Azerbaijan's GDP in 2021 is forecasted by the IMF at the level of 2.3 percent.
