BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 15. The world's renewable energy capacity will increase 2.7 times by 2030, the executive director of the International Energy Agency (IEA) Fatih Birol said during the Ministerial Meeting on the COP29 Energy Initiatives, Trend reports.
“The good news is that, if we look at all renewable energy projects that have received final investment decisions (FIDs) as well as those in the pipeline, based on our analysis, even in a conservative estimate, global renewable energy capacity will increase by 2.7 times by 2030," he said.
