The 36th meeting of the Council of Heads of Communications Administrations of the Regional Communications Commonwealth (RCC) dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the establishment of RCC was held in Moscow on 12 December 2006, Trend reports.
The Russian Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications announced that the delegation from RCC - Communications Administrations full members Azerbaijan, Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and observers - Latvia, Slovenia and Estonia were in attendance.
The Ministry informed Trend that the Azerbaijani delegation will participate at and the 10th meeting of the Coordinating Council of Information Sciences at the RCC to be held in Moscow on December 12-13, 2006.
Attending the event will be the heads of the Communications Administrations of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Latvia, and other countries.
The honorable participants in the gathering were representatives from the CIS Executive Committee, CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, international organizations World Post Union and International Union of Electric Communications, regional organizations African Union of Electric Communications and Pan-African Post Union, representatives of the Communications Administrations of Bulgaria, Hungary, Macedonia and Estonia.
The gathering presided by the chairman of RCC Council, the Russian Minister for Information Technologies and Communications, Leonid Rayman.
RCC was established on December 17, 1991.
