The head of the Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce Yahia Al-Ishaq announced that Iraqis are looking for joint car manufacturing, Trend reports citing ILNA.
“Iranian cars have a market in Iraq and are used in Iraq`s urban and public transportation, and this cooperation can be in the form of joint production,” he said.
“Of course, there are issues such as pricing, post-sales service and supply of parts - for all of this Iran has capabilities, such as manpower, manufacturing of parts, etc.," said Al-Ishaq.
He went on to say that Iraqis are more interested in joint cooperation in the form of Iran investing funds in Iraq.
Al-Ishaq said that some products are being assembled in Iraq.
