The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, met on Thursday with the Senate Speaker Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev, Kazakhstan Today reports.
Tokaev informed the head of state of the current and perspective directions of the legislative activities of the Senate and preparation for the winter meeting of the OSCE Parliament Assembly in Vienna, the president's press service informs.
The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly's tenth Winter Meeting will take place on Feb.24-25 in Vienna. Around 250 parliamentarians from 55 countries are expected to participate in the annual Vienna meeting. Among the main topics to be discussed at the Session is political situation in Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and the Arab states.
