Kazakhstan, Roscosmos to co-op in Earth remote sensing data exchange

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Feb. 11

Trend:

Kazakhstan and the Russian State Space Corporation (Roscosmos) will cooperate in the exchange of data from spacecraft for remote sensing of the Earth, Trend reports via the Kazakh President’s press service.

The corresponding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed within the visit of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Russia.

List of the signed documents includes:

1. MoU between the Kazakh Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry and the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media on the exchange of experience in the field of digitalization.

2. MoU between the Kazakh Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry and Roscosmos on cooperation in the exchange of data from Earth remote sensing spacecraft.

3. MoU between the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan and the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation (Rosatom) on cooperation in training personnel in the field of peaceful use of atomic energy in Kazakhstan.

4. MoU between the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia.

5. Agreement on cooperation between Kazakhstan Railways NC JSC and Russian Transmashholding JSC.

6. MoU between Kazakhstan’s Center for International Programs JSC and the Bauman Moscow State Technical University (Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education).

7. MoU between Kazakhstan’s Center for International Programs JSC and the Russian National University of Science and Technology or MISiS (Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education).

8. MoU between Kazakhstan’s Center for International Programs JSC and Russian National Research Nuclear University or MEPhI (Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education).

9. MoU between Kazakhstan’s Center for International Programs JSC and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education).

10. MoU between Kazakhstan’s Center for International Programs JSC and the Russian Gubkin State National Research University of Oil and Gas (Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education).

11. MoU between Kazakhstan’s Center for International Programs JSC and Russia's ITMO National Research University (Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education).
