BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 30. Trade turnover between France and Kazakhstan from January through September 2022 reached $2.5 billion, amounting to an increase of $200 million, compared to the same period last year, Trend reports, citing the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan.

Thus, Kazakhstan's exports to France in the first 9 months of 2022 totaled $1.9 billion, which is an increase of 5 percent year-on-year.

Among the main commodities supplied from Kazakhstan to France are crude oil ($1.9 billion), followed by uranium ($146.5 million), and titanium ($28 million).

Meanwhile, Kazakhstan's imports from France from January through September 2022, having increased by 8.1 percent, amounted to $512.6 million. The key imported goods from France to Kazakhstan are vaccines, blood serum, blood ($40.5 million), turbojet and turboprop engines, gas turbines ($36.9 million), and medicine ($36.7 million).
