ASTANA, Kazakhstan, October 10. Housing prices on the primary market in Kazakhstan increased by 5.7 percent in September 2023 compared to September 2022, Trend reports.
Data of the country's Bureau of National Statistics shows that over the same period, prices for secondary market apartments decreased by 3.9 percent.
In addition, rent for comfortable housing in September 2023 compared to the same month last year decreased by 0.2 percent.
Regionally, prices on the primary housing market in annual terms increased significantly in the cities of Pavlodar by 18.9 percent, Semey - by 16 percent, Aktau - by 11.7 percent.
In the secondary housing market, the leaders in price growth are the cities of Semey (25.3 percent), Kyzylorda (14.6 percent), Taldykorgan (9.7 percent), in the rental housing market - Karaganda (24.8 percent), Konayev (24.6 percent), Kyzylorda (22.5 percent).
On the housing purchase and sale market in September 2023 the number of registered transactions amounted to 35,398, of which 8,815 were for individual houses and 26,583 for apartments in multi-apartment buildings.
Compared to August 2023 (38,810) the number of housing purchase and sale transactions decreased by 8.8 percent.
