ASTANA, Kazakhstan, January 11. The number of registered housing purchase and sale deals in Kazakhstan amounted to 37,818 in December 2023, Trend reports.
Data of the country's Bureau of National Statistics shows that 8,238 deals were concluded for individual houses, and 29,580 for apartments in multi-apartment buildings.
Thus, compared to November 2023 (31,727), the number of housing purchase and sale deals increased by 19.2 percent.
The leaders in the number of transactions, as before, were the cities of Almaty (7,594 - 20.1 percent) and Astana (7,157 - 18.9 percent), as well as the Karaganda region (2,946 - 7.8 percent). The fewest deals were carried out in the Ulytau region - 447 (1.2 percent).
At the same time, the number of housing purchase and sale deals in December 2023 increased by 12.6 percent compared to the same month of last year, then 33,587 deals were registered.
In addition, the number of purchase and sale deals from January through December 2023 decreased by 20.5 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
