BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 23. Kyrgyzstan has issued 6,746 loans totaling 3.3 billion soms ($42.7 million) as part of the implementation of the "Financing of Agriculture - 10" program to date, Trend reports via Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the ministry, 5,557 loans totaling 3.1 billion soms ($39.6 million) were collateral-based, while 1,189 loans totaling 241.4 million soms ($3 million) were provided without collateral.

For the development of crop production, 1,840 collateral-based loans were issued in the amount of 868.8 million soms ($10.9 million), 640 loans were issued without collateral worth of 128.7 million soms ($1.6 million).

Kyrgyzstan provided 3,572 loans worth of 1.8 billion soms ($23.6 million) for development of livestock breeding, 549 loans in the amount of 112.6 million soms ($1.4 million) of which were issued without collateral.

Meanwhile, 145 loans totaling 404.6 million soms ($5 million) were provided on a pledge basis for the development of the agricultural processing and service sector.
