The 11th round of Uzbek and Korean foreign ministries' political consultations will be held in Seoul on April 24.
Uzbekistan will be represented at the consultations by Deputy Foreign Minister Murad Askarov, while the Korean side will be represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Lee Kyung-soo, South Korea's Foreign Ministry said on April 23.
During the consultations the sides will discuss topical issues of bilateral relations, including the development of cooperation in trade, investments, construction, infrastructure, information technologies, energy industry and mineral resources.
Uzbekistan's and South Korea's representatives will also exchange views on topical regional issues and cooperation on the international arena.
They will also review the development of cultural exchange.
Uzbek and South Korean foreign ministries have been holding regular political consultations since 1994.
The political consultations between the two countries are a mechanism for discussing bilateral, regional and global cooperation at the governmental level.
The previous round of consultations was held in Tashkent in November 2011.
