Uzbekistan increased the volume of its imports in 2021 compared to 2020 ($21.1 billion), reaching $25.4 billion, Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
At the same time, imports from the CIS countries amounted to $10.4 billion, and from other countries - $15 billion.
During this period Uzbekistan imported goods in the amount of $23.7 billion and services in the amount of $1.7 billion.
Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover in 2021 increased by 16 percent compared to 2020 ($36.2 billion), reaching $42 billion.
